Why is it,
that the deadliest creatures,
seem to reproduce,
at such a high rate?
They lay their eggs,
in corners and crevices,
in walls,
outside walls.
Producing in thousands and thousands,
all in one hit.
Protecting their eggs,
wrapped in silk,
until our dooms day comes.
Once they hatch,
they sprawl out all over,
infecting the inhabitance,
with their always unsuspecting presence.
With their fear inducing bodies,
that seem to cause panic in our minds,
while sharpening our senses,
all at once.
We feel repulsed,
by their look,
by their touch,
by their nearness,
and absolute unpredictability.
We swat with our hands,
or scoop up to throw away,
or call the hands of another,
if the thought of that,
makes us run,
or shudder.
They are God made,
and have their place,
as we have ours.
Yet it’s a struggle,
to try not expel them,
or consider them a natural part,
of our worldly realm.
We don’t want to acknowledge,
their purpose,
as the very look of them,
causes us to run and flee.
But if we are to live life in God’s creation,
surely we have to accept all in all,
that every one of us,
has a place,
man and more.
